Went here on a Tuesday night with a friend and surprisingly there was no wait. We ordered carpaccio, udon, yakitori, and a variety of sushi. Carpaccio was very fresh and not too citrusy like at some other places and all the sushi just melted in my mouth! Yakitori is also a must. Beef short rib was very tender, sea bass was seasoned perfectly and buttery, and chicken skin was personally my favorite. Last but not least, uni cream udon is to die for. At most places that I have had it the cream can be too overwhelming and heavy but here it was well balanced. Also there was so much uni that they threw in there you can taste the uni until the last bite of this dish. Overall, the ambiance, the quality of food, and the customer service was great and I will be back!

I've been to this place so many times now, and it still offers great service, friendly servers, and amazing sushi! I wish I could come to this restaurant every day!

Izakaya Tora was absolutely amazing. The ingredients were fresh, and the menu was creative and fun. I loved how the dishes were reinterpreted in Tora’s unique style. The uni udon pasta is a must-try—an explosion of uni flavor in the sauce paired with perfectly cooked udon noodles. 👍🏼 The kushiyaki was also excellent—my favorite was the miso Chilean sea bass. The sashimi and sushi was Flawless—there’s nothing more to say! Even though all of us were full, all of us just couldn’t stop eating. The combination of halibut and truffle was outstanding as well. The sake list was impressive too. The owner seems very knowledgeable about sake, so I’d recommend asking them for suggestions!
