The vibe and atmosphere of this place was fantastic. I actually was lost trying to find it because it does not look like a place that has sushi. Since the server was not there yet for lunch, I sat at the bar (which was cute, but the bar stool seats were wildly uncomfortable). The drink list was fantastic and I ordered the lunch special. Spicy tuna crispy rice is a must! The maki and sashimi I got were subpar though. I would come back to try more of their items not on the lunch special. In terms of parking, this place is located in a busy area so look for street parking or park in the garage behind the building in the alley!!

In A Nutshell: -Owa seems like a place you might take a Hinge date or have after-work drinks w/ your co-workers. -The vibe is very energetic. -I think this place is only okay b/c I don't feel like the high prices justify the food & drinks. -$10 for a Sapporo draft is a tad high. -The sakes are a little overpriced too. -The food options are good, I enjoyed the variety. -I thought the $15 asparagus & shrimp tempura was hot & tasty. -The spicy roll that features yellowtail tuna & scallops was very good. -I wasn't too crazy about the cold wagyu niguri, it was also very expensive. Overall, the service is very good here & I like the ambiance, I just feel like the prices should be a little lower to justify coming back again.

Just came here for the first time the other day with my boyfriend and loved the quality of sushi. My favorite roll was the “Soul Roll” which is totally worth the price with a bunch of fresh toro on top!! It’s mouth watering. I didn’t get to snap a photo of it because it got devoured but I did take a photo of the nigiris we got. The cocktails were also amazing. Thank you to our server, Taylor, for the hospitality.
