THEY DO NOT HONOR RESERVATIONS. I had a reservation at 6:30 pm. My group got there 10 minutes early, and we 1 in and waited patiently for 10 minutes. It would have been nice to have been seated early, but I was fine with waiting since it technically wasn't time yet. The entrance area is super small, so it was overcrowded over there with all the groups waiting for their tables. It made entering and leaving difficult. Better restaurants would have offered to send a text when your table is ready so they can keep the entrance clear of people, but unfortunately, this restaurant couldn't come up with this simple fix. Then, after my reservation had passed (my party was still standing at the entrance waiting), I asked when we would be seated. That was when the hostess informed me that they would not be honoring my reservation because they overbooked, and if I wanted to be seated, I would have to wait 40 minutes! If I wanted to eat at 7:15, I would have made my reservation at 7:15! Why was this not communicated with me when I 1 in??? They knew I wouldn't be seated at the agreed upon time and they let my group wait for 20 minutes, and if I hadn't took the initiative to ask, they would have kept us waiting for 40 minutes! Terrible communication! I would have appreciated notice that they were not gonna honor my reservation slot. I would not be writing this if they had. I spoke with the other guests and asked for their experience. Everyone I spoke to made reservations for slots ahead of mine, and they also had 40-minute wait times. So this restaurant is completely unorganized and completely lacks in leadership. But I guess it was a blessing in disguise because when I told my brother about this experience, he said the food is poor quality for a hibachi place and we were better off going to a different location. It's laughable that the restaurant has the nerve to send me an email saying "you missed your reservation." When I did not miss my reservation, the restaurant refused to honor my reservation. Terrible experience. No communication. There is no leadership from the manager. No intelligent person in sight. I would not be coming back even if they paid me to. I am SO glad my group went to an Italian restaurant nearby. We had a much better experience there.

I had an amazing experience at Benihana thanks to Abram! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire dining experience unforgettable. His skill on the hibachi grill was impressive, and he added so much fun and energy to the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection, and his customer service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be back and hope to see Abram again!
