Came here a couple times recently. One better than the other. Both times I got the Chirashi Don and it was really good! The first time we came was on New Year's Eve. Understandably, there was about a 20 minute wait for a party of 3. We ordered and 2 of us got our food first (Chirashi Don and Chirashi Don Deluxe). The 3rd person in our party got chicken teriyaki and it seriously took us asking for it twice before it came out 15-20 minutes after we got our food. Not ideal in terms of service but the food was good! The second time I came was a take out order for a Chirashi Don and that wasn't as good as the last time we went but not bad. Overall the food was really good but the service was hit or miss the one time we dined in. We'll be back to give them another shot!

Great range of items on the menu. We ordered a few appetizers and like everything. I ordered an Omagase sashimi set and it was good for the price. I don't expect it to be the same as real Omagase experience as it's not, but this is not bad for this price range. The ambience is also not bad. Plenty of tables. We couldn't make a reservation so decided to walk in for early dinner and got seated within 10 min. Noted: one person in our group had a food poisoning next day and she suspected it might be the oyster.

I guess I had too much expectations. First of all, I was most dissatisfied that I couldn't make a reservation. The quality of the food was not bad, but it didn't look very good to stack plates removed from the table on the side of a restaurant that sells uncooked sashimi. If I paid more attention to cleanliness, I think it could be a better restaurant. I ordered scallop sashimi, but I couldn't order any more when I saw the serving person dusting the plates with his hands. That is very unfortunate. The fried shrimp was good.
