Very good food (would recommend getting a curry) but the did not have a good system for people waiting for a table.

I absolutely LOVE ‘on the bridge’ in Japantown SF! I’ve been coming here since I was… 14? 15? And the food has never disappointed! Seating is a little limited (if it’s a busy day) but I’ve never really had to wait too long. Love the fun art and all the Manga throughout the restaurant! The owner and/or chef is SO nice and never makes a bad dish! I got the mentaiko cream pasta this time around and I’ve been thinking about it ever since! Every time I make it to Japantown- this is my go to! Prices are good for food and you get good portions! Drinks are a little pricey but where are they not when you eat out but it’s all very authentic Japanese!

It’s very rare to find a Yoshoku place in the area! The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. They also have manga that you can read during your meal. Love the place!
