I had such a pleasant experience at Nara on Haights. We came to visit SF for a concert and celebrate my friend’s belated birthday. They greeted us soo warmly and kindly made recommendations from the menu. We had the edamame, miso soup, maple salmon steak, golden gate roll, and bonito caterpillar roll. Jenny was sweet and had a sick vibe. We took a birthday shot that was smooth and had mochi for dessert to celebrate. 10/10 totally would recommend.

Great happy hour prices (5p-7p) and all food was fresh. We immediately ordered a second round of the hamachi truffle and agedashi tofu. Also got the oysters, chicken karaage, and fried calamari

I absolutely love this place. Everything is served to perfection. If you’re lucky Jenny will be your waitress, she is the sweetest. Highly highly recommended.
