This little gem in Mira Mess is a must-try if you are looking for good Japanese food and sushi. During lunch, you can select the all-you-can-eat option for about $30 per person. You’ll enjoy an expansive menu featuring a variety of rolls, sashimi, and Japanese dishes. Everything is fresh, made to order, and highlights good ingredients. I’ve tried quite a few items on the menu and so far, they’ve never disappointed! It’s definitely worth the wait—so be sure to check in ahead of time because there’s often a line. This isn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but everyone I have taken here has been impressed by how good it is. 10/10 would recommend checking this place out!

Little Sakana in Mira Mesa is hands down one of the best spots for all-you-can-eat sushi dinner! Not only is the sushi fresh and delicious, but the variety is impressive. The salmon nigiri and specialty rolls were some of my favorites, but I have to give a special shout-out to their chicken fried rice—it’s absolutely amazing! I ended up having three bowls of it because it was that good. Perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor, it’s definitely a hidden gem on the menu. The music here was awesome with a nice mix that is sure to give you something to nod and sometimes sing to, as you enjoy your meal. The service was fast and friendly, and despite being a busy night, the food came out quickly and freshly prepared. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or just love great food, this place is worth visiting. Trust me, come hungry—you’ll leave full and happy!

Great AYCE sushi place! I went here twice because of the money value. The fish (salmon yellowfin) squid, octopus, unagi(eel) and hotate are great for every menu. So, I will stick with menu based on these items. Appetizers are good because they want you to eat 😜 There is a menu i dont like. I found surf calm has no taste. But it is okay, because AYCE style restaurant. Services are superb efficient queue systems and the servers are really nice and attentive. Order came out quickly, so you have enough time to fill. I can go back again and again :) Atmosphere is a bit lacking due to the layout but I know they try very hard to compensate with music and staff celebrate your birthday if requested! (put another 🌟 for the staffs!)
