I stayed at a hotel nearby while I was on a business trip and decided to go try this place out. Hands down one of the best sushi spots I've been to in the US. Highly recommend coming in and trying the omakase which is only around $45 - this price is unheard of for an omakase of this quality. Staff was friendly and everything was top notch & extremely fresh, would definitely come back next time I'm in town!

We honestly only come here because of the price, it is probably the most affordable sushi spot in the Bay for the sushi size and decent quality. With that being said, it's not the best quality and the place can definitely use a deep clean. The service is okay. The only downfall I'd say is that they charge for substitutes even if you're asking for something cheaper!! Pretty ridiculous in my opinion. They get pretty packed during peak dinner hours so I definitely recommend coming early or late for dinner.

For less than $50, we were able to get a decent plate filled with sushi and sashimi. It was enough to feed two moderately hungry people and leave on a good note. The quality was actually really good. The service was too good so it felt a bit invasive, but overall REALLY GOOD. Update: The lover's boat is now $55 and is still a really great bargain!
