Service at Daimaru in Salina was stellar—friendly, fast, and super attentive. Honestly, it carried the meal. The hibachi itself was fine, but portions were a little small. The fried noodles were a miss—undercooked and totally lacking flavor. On the bright side, the mustard sauce was a standout, adding a nice kick to everything else. Overall, an okay experience with great service that makes it worth a visit if you’re not too picky about the food.

Went for lunch. Called In Advance for hibachi grill. No other hibachi grill is going, and I still waited 30 minutes. Then our drinks never got refilled until I got up and found someone. Our sushi got to us after the 30 minutes of waiting for the chef to start the grill... then he didn't have the orders right. Then, to top it off, I was double charged. Called back, and she was not very nice. Corrected it but made me feel like I was a problem because her server usually works nights, so she plugged in dinner prices and not lunch and then double charged for fried rice. Excuse after excuse. I asked for a Togo box... that never came. We left and won't be back...

I’ve already reviewed so I figured I’d edit/update. Tonight we went and Jordan was our chef. He was fantastic. He even sang to our table at the end of the meal. Vic was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best experience we had. And all of our experiences have been amazing here. Vic was able to find a common ground with all 10 of us. And that made this a great experience. We come for birthdays. So we will be back next month too.
