My wife and I were visiting the area for a few days and could not be more happy to have found this place. Quality of the food is amazing and this is by far the best sushi we have ever had. We liked sushi at this place so much that we came back 3 days in a row for dinner. We can’t wait to come back to Pacifica just to eat at Sushi Kashiwa.

Fantastic Japanese experience at Sushi Kashiwa! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and each bite was packed with flavor. The ambiance feels authentic and cozy, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back for more delicious sushi!👏

Although it's located in an unassuming plaza Sushi Kashiwa is positioning itself to be the premium sushi spot in the area. However, we still had mixed reviews about our experience. We ordered their 11pc omakase and uni toro handroll. Some of the nigiri tasted bland which was disappointing. The uni toro handroll was good but more toro flavor than uni. I didn't realize they had some ongoing house specials - "The Toast" would definitely have been something we'd order. Food aside.. the service was pretty good. We had a couple of hiccups that were swiftly addressed. They're still doing a promotion for 15% off dine-in only as of today 21SEP2024.
