Had a prix fixe menu as this was a large group of 12. We were off in a private room where they store the tomahawk steaks and Tuna. That was pretty cool to see. However, I've gotta preface this with the fact that I'm a cooked fish kinda girl! My sushi typically consists of lobster, crab, or shrimp as I don't really like fish and certainly not raw fish. But... This dining experience changed all of that!!! I tried things I would normally NEVER even think of, and everything was very tasty!!! Hamachi carpaccio was the first thing they brought out and I knew I was in for a life-changing experience. I want to bathe in the sauce the shishito peppers came in. I'd bottle that and sell it, wow it was good! The two superstars of the evening for me were the tempura sticky ribs (holy shit they were fantastic) and the Japanese wagu, which we cooked on a hot lava rock on the table. That wagu literally melted in our moths like butter!!! 🤤🤤🤤

A place that doesn’t make you feel like your in a typical oraldno tourist chain. The atmosphere is both elegant and sophisticated with top tier food, drink and service You would t know it by simply looking from the outside in, so never judge a book by its cover Our server T was phenomenal and we left with Wagyu swimming in bellies you feel like royalty p.s the sticky ribs reminded me of home growing up in Hawaii brought back so many memories

Review of Kabooki Sushi As a sushi lover for years, I can confidently say that Kabooki Sushi offers the best food I have ever experienced. If I were a multi-millionaire, I would hire the chef to come to Detroit for special occasions – that’s how much I adore this place! One highlight of my meal was the ribs, which seemed to be infused with some magical ingredient. They were so incredibly tender that they melted in my mouth without needing to be chewed. The flavor was nothing short of exquisite, leaving me in a state of pure amazement with every bite. While I enjoyed a delightful cocktail alongside my meal, I must say the food was so satisfying that I hardly needed it. If you're in the mood for an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend
