I came here from a Reddit recommendation for another casual sushi spot if you don’t want to deal with Katana’s waitlist. Had 3 rolls and they were good, fish tasted fresh and seaweed wasn’t too chewy. I didn’t care much for Marie roll (the sauce flavor was too strong) but the simple rolls were good though small. Overall I recommend if you’re in the area.

Small and cozy Japanese food where you should go for what’s not offered elsewhere. I recommend you pick what you’ve never tried in other places. Otherwise why go in the first place?! Erika delights you with her own creations. I’ll start with dessert! Lychee ice cream or sorbet, not sure of the category but it was simply a real surprise- Order it! The Lexi sandwich, a must! Mary roll, yummy garlic crumbles on it. The 100 Roll, another must. The squid squeezers, only here & yes please! The seaweed salad, because you gotta get your greens and hers is great! A couple of items did not get photographed because the excitement took over. It’s a small place and popular so there is a long wait. It’s worth it. The service is friendly and Erika is the cutest young lady working hard behind the sushi counter. She’s only open for lunch and doors close at 5:45pm. Good for her that she’s made her own work terms! I’d be there more frequently if I lived closer so it’s a treat and a trip to go but oh so worth it!
