HANA on front street is really nice. They have two branches in town. Good choice of vegetarian options, including sushi rolls, Customizable. Great service.

I’ve been to Hana many times, but it had been a while, so I visited on a Friday late afternoon for an early dinner. The wait staff was attentive and answered all of my questions. I had Jerry’s Spicy Fried Rice for the entree and Thai Tea to drink. The rice dish was spicy but not too hot and had lots of shrimp. The homemade sauce complemented the rice well. The Thai Tea was a new experience for me—very refreshing and enjoyable. For dessert, I had Red Sail, a platter of six, small, soy paper-wrapped cheesecake bites topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberries. The strawberries tasted like they had been marinated in liqueur. All of it was really good and presented well. I highly recommend Hana!

Food was good but I wish I hadn't followed our waiter's recommendation to get a different type of sushi roll than what comes with the Bento Lunch Boxes. (Yuck) The waiter wrote NOTHING down and then had to be reminded at least twice for us to get each of these: water, chopsticks and utensils, napkins (I finally went to the bar and asked for some), to-go glasses, and tops THAT FIT the plastic soup to-go containers (I ended up leaving without getting them and of course it spilled😩). My friend commented that he was the worst waiter she'd had in a LONG WHILE.😳 And we BOTH regretted having given him a (more than) 20% tip! 🤷‍♀️
