Excellent Sushi and Habachi with entertaining birthday drums. The fish was very fresh and tasteful. The hibachi chef kept us laughing. Even a Tuesday was very busy. It can get too loud at the hibachi tables to hear eachothers conversation. Definitely going back.

The Monterey Roll—spicy crab crowned with seared filet mignon, kissed by the fire and draped in a cloak of spicy mayo—stood as the true champion of the night. Its balance of heat and umami was nothing short of masterful. To any who seek a roll both bold and refined, I say this: let the Monterey be your guide. For my main course, the Chicken Katsu I chose. Crisp, golden, and hearty it was, accompanied by a gathering of white rice, miso soup, and fresh vegetables. A fine dish indeed, yet when my gaze fell upon the Bento Box at a nearby table, a disturbance in my decision I sensed. Next time, a wiser choice I shall make. Service—attentive and warm—flowed with the grace of a Jedi in harmony with the Force, elevating the meal to a true delight. With a view of the harbor stretching before me, the atmosphere was as serene as a meditation chamber. Already, my return I anticipate.

It is one of the best places in the area for a high-end japanese spot in Monterey. The hibachi style meals are always great choices. If you ask for double on the habichi meal, if it doesn't come in a combo. For me, I'll ask for double chicken. The chefs are always lively and serve large portions. The staff as well are nice and attentive with refills and moving empty plates away. This great spot for celebrations or special evening due cost, but you definitely get your money's worth and a wonderful experience,I highly recommend!
