I forgot to take a photo of the food, but it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy and bustling the interior was, considering that I usually order takeout. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, this place is worth checking out. They have a few more locations, so you can find one near you by searching on Google.

The holidays can be a stressful time, so thankfully Mikomi Sushi in Monrovia, California, in the SGV has just what I need to get through these next few weeks: SUSHI and COCKTAILS🙌🏼 Their Signature Cocktails have been recently updated with seasonal flavors and are deliciously strong, and is the perfect complement to their fresh sushi, sashimi, rolls and everything else on their vast menu. The stand out bites for us are their rolls, which we ordered based on our server’s recommendations. Always trust them🫶🏼 We had: 🍸Lemon Tea with Jameson, 🍹Oops all berries, 🥃Cranberry Orange Whiskey, 🧄Sizzling Garlic Onion Tuna Signature Sashimi, 🍤Truffle Unagi Tempura Roll, 🍋Citrus Salmon Fresh Roll, 🍣Assorted Nigiri (Jumbo Scallop, Bluefin Tuna, Halibut, Yellowtail, Black Snapper, Albacore)

We’ve been dining with Mikomi for many years, even before they move to the current Monrovia location. We still love their sushi, rolls, and sashimi after so many years. They used to have much better sushi chef service, where we would regularly get specials treatment to better portions etc. I guess that’s part of growing and now with four stores, you loose touch with old customers. Disappointing.
