I ordered the lion king roll through doordash and it arrived charcoal black and burnt. It was no longer edible as the salmon was hard clumps. The rice was mushy as well. I had to toss it as I do not wish to get food poisoning. What's worst is doordash will not allow me to refund it. They can't be doing this to people's to-go orders and getting away with it.

I used to go exclusively to Sendai Sushi and only checked out Kakuna one day by sheer circumstance - BUT I’M CONVERTED! I’ve ordered pickup a couple times each week now lol. So good, such large rolls and awesome lunch time deals! I’m obsessed with the Gajin roll and Butterface, Oishi and more. Highly recommend! Still love Sendai but now I love both equally and Kakuna doesn’t have the wait times if I wanna eat in.

Kakuna Sushi is a hidden gem for sushi lovers! Omakase Box ($48.99) – 12 thick slices of fresh tuna, salmon, scallop, uni, and more. Absolutely worth it! Nigiri Moriawase ($23.99) – 9 different pieces, all fresh and delicious. I wish there were more! Grilled Salmon Collar – Crispy outside, tender inside. Eat it hot for the best flavor! Lobster Roll – Tempura lobster topped with seared salmon. Don’t miss this one! Fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned—highly recommend Kakuna Sushi!
