Employee was super friendly as soon as I walked in the door. Sushi was prepared right in front of me and you could see how fresh the products were. Reasonably priced and the finished product was beautiful and delicious.

Sushi Stop 2023 W Guadalupe Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202 After a challenging experience at Gangnam - Sushi & Grill in Tempe, I was excited to explore Sushi Stop in Mesa, just 8 miles away. I am absolutely thrilled that I chose Sushi Stop! The Sushi Chef Alex and his wonderful team were incredibly welcoming. Alex even has a lovely waitress with a radiant smile, which added to the delightful atmosphere. I truly enjoyed the warmth of this crew. I ordered their Sashimi plates, and I was delighted by the freshness and firmness of the fish—so delicious! Alex surprised me with the REAL WASABI, not the typical green horseradish, which was a fantastic touch. I had a fantastic evening filled with delicious fish and the friendly company of the staff. What an amazing sushi restaurant!

I had tried this place with the previous owners and never went back because I felt the quality of the fish was not there. I heard they had new owners and decided to give it a try. The quality of the food and fish is definitely WAY better. Sushi rolls are absolutely delicious. I have now gone twice in the last month. The service is immaculate and the owner an absolute gem. Love that this is locally owned! Recommend the crunchy roll, Phoenix roll, spicy Alaska, and over the rainbow to name a few. Rolls are great size too! Highly recommend.
