I had a reservation for Valentine’s Day omakase, but still ended up waiting outside for 45 minutes. When we asked the male manager if we’d be seated soon, given the cold and windy weather, he responded with a dismissive attitude, repeatedly citing how busy they were, but showing no appreciation for the fact that we had made a reservation and waited so long outside. There were no apologies for the delays after seated. The service was also incredibly slow. The yuzu refresher, which came after the third course was essentially just ice with a faint hint of yuzu flavor—hardly what you'd expect from a $100 omakase experience. To make matters worse, they swapped the last dessert without any prior notice. The server simply brought it to our table and casually mentioned that the original tiramisu was unavailable. To top it off, they replaced it with lychee ice cream, which I'm allergic to, without informing us at all. Would not recommend

We have been at this restaurant twice. So impressed with the Sashimi Bowls. The Sashimi is so fresh! And excellent customer services. We will definitely come to this restaurant when we visit Phoenix again. Wonderful foods and very friendly restaurant!

This place has great quality fish. They also have a bit more variety of fish than a typical sushi place in the Valley. They have some of my favorite white fish including kanpachi, madai, and hirame. They didn’t have kohada when I went. Their uni selection includes ones from Japan and California. I got the one from Japan. It was very expensive but is also some of the best I have had. This place being an Izakaya they have a lot more than just sushi on their menu. However, the caliber of their sushi beats 95% of other sushi only places in the Phoenix area. Highly recommended.
