Lovely local sushi shop Friendly staff & ambient atmosphere

Went on New Year’s day 2025 to eat with 7 cousins and felt the atmosphere was pretty dead. The service was also subpar, at times not the right food brought out to the table. The main hostess was very good and gracious as she took care of us very well and welcomed us in. There was a trainee who needed help for taking orders and at times didn’t understand what dishes we wanted. We also had to remind him 3-4 times on our drink orders (and mind you, we were the ONLY table in the restaurant). Overall- Food was excellent, service was ok (the lady was amazing, the guy not so much), atmosphere felt drab.

Love the food and the service, especially Happy Hour. If you live in the neighborhood like me, and you're not coming here then you're missing out on great food, value, and service.
