Single worst habachi experience I've ever had. Service was excellent, but the food was some of the least seasoned or sauced food I've ever had. Myself and my partner could only eat a handful of bites before the grease and lack of taste made us give up and get takeout containers to throw out later. We left so much food on our plates that it couldn't fit in the takeout containers they gave us and no one on staff thought or cared enough to question that apparently. They also gave us the bill before we could order a dessert we asked about earlier, which is just the sour icing on the stale cake.

I normally enjoy food from kabu but the other night we ordered drunken noodles and pad Thai and both tasted so terrible we couldn’t eat our food. The drunken noodles were so over cooked they were complete mush and the pad Thai had no sauce or flavor. A ton of noodles and very little veggies. The shrimp were so over cooked they were hard. Luckily, the seaweed salad and crab Rangoon was edible. I hope this was a fluke and not an indicator of the new quality.

It’s beautiful inside (a nice surprise considering it seemed to be in a strip of stores) and the service was quick. Happy hour prices are really good. Half price on some basic sushi. and the sushi is really good. Also had shrimp drunken noodles and the shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. All food was delicious.
