WHAT happened to this place??? I used to eat here on the daily 9-10 years ago. Was super stoked it was still there when visiting. The rolls were super skinny with barely any fish. It cost us $189 for 2 adults, a teenager and a baby. We were ALL still hungry after leaving. The server was also very standoffish, I wouldn't say rude but it was VERY noticeable. This place has the potential to be better though and I really really hope the owners work on it because at one point in time it was THE best Sushi spot in all of Western Kansas. Come on owners step it up! Bring back the drum shows, make some noise, get people in that door. response to owners comment. I don't think I have ever been gaslit this hard in my entire life. Just wow. With that attitude your business will slowly fail and I hope it does.

The food was tasty but way overpriced. The sushi and sashimi were cut smaller than normal and simultaneously priced significantly higher than other sushi places in Kansas. The relatively moderate plate of sushi in my picture cost well over $30 before even considering the tip. If you're in Liberal and absolutely must have sushi, the food quality is fine. However, if you want to get your money's worth, you'll be better waiting for a chance to go elsewhere.

The amount of shrimp they put on my plate was surprising, Had to ask for yum yum sauce. The food was good. I do not think the price was any more then any other hibachi place. You just pay for some of what I would call condiments.
