Absolutely disgusting food. $20 and it is a lot of food but doesn't matter because it's gross. The building looks run down and the food definitely matches that vibe.

After we moved to The Villages, we watched as signs went up proclaiming "Open soon." At, what looks like a house converted into a restaurant, we saw Hibachi Jose open up. Today was our first, and likely last visit. Let's start with the dining room. Wait! It doesn't have one. The only seating is cheap, card tables arranged on a screened porch. There are fans in the ceiling, but on this 93 degree day, they were off. Remnants of a TV set and cables are dangling from the wall. Your view is a busy highway and an old airplane bone yard with pieces of aircraft strewn about a huge lot. We should have paid heed to our first clue. We were the only customers. As for the food: Our favorite Asian place is Kumo, about 4 miles to the west of this place. I enjoyed my meal. The prices are about the same, but at least I don't have to add extra deodorant to ward off the Florida summer heat. A brief check reveals this location has been a number of establishments. As for this incarnation...NO WAY JOSE. I don't like to sweat while I eat.
