We have been here several times in the last year after asking for suggested Sushi places on the Lafayette Foodies group on Facebook. Samurai was HIGHLY suggested, it was a toss up with a few other places but we chose to try here. We have never had a bad experience, it's a hidden gem. It's like a whole in the wall, hidden in a dark ally 😅 But that's an advantage because you have to know it's there lol. We tried to narrow down our favorites, and I am sure there are plenty we haven't tried. We love the ULL ROLL, LSU ROLL, ACADIANA ROLL the best ! We were there last night and our server Morgan was very helpful and made suggestions to make sure we liked what was in each roll. She was genuinely helpful !! Thats rare these days in servers so I appreciate it when we get a good one ! I have no desire to eat sushi anywhere else in the area as I have finally found sushi I absolutely love. It's not just "ok" !

Don’t order the Chicken cause it won’t be cooked. We told the waitress and we still had to pay for RAW chicken, we got told the owner would call us and he never did!!
