No issues with the food. I ordered a Level 5 Vege Croquette Omelette curry. It was a good level of spice, still okay to eat comfortably if you enjoy a spicy kick with occasional sips of water. Also because it was rather spicy I think I needed more rice (Large). The regular plate is pretty normal sized, not too much as seen in the photo. Anything lesser is about an ice cream scoop size. You can always add more rice later for $1 if needed. They also have free pickles which went well with the curry rice and helped with the heat. My partner ordered Zero level spice, it was great too. It was still flavourful if you enjoy it without a spice fix, perhaps slightly more tangy & grounded flavours compared to the spicy ones.

Overall nice experience. We ordered the chicken cutlet and udon curry with a side of fries. The curry was excellent and I chose level 15 spice which really upped the game. The servers were quick and kind also. The only let down was the fries. You could tell that they had been fried in old oil as they tasted quite burnt with a rubbery texture. That aside, I highly recommend for a curry dish as it is their specialty.

Guys, you gotta do better. I was there ten minutes ago with my gf. I LOVE Coco's and have been to them all over Japan and also LA. We ordered two dishes to go and I dumbly gave 18% tip out of glee. I asked "Are there utensils in there?" and the man behind the counter said "uh I think so" and I left it at that, mistakenly. We drove to a park to eat and inside was... a single spoon. The food was awesome but this is not the standard of service I expect from a Japanese place. We're having a great meal taking turns regardless 😀
