I was in the area craving sushi and decided to stop by Sakura Japanese Sushi & Steak House. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the restaurant’s aesthetic. The decor was inviting, and the goldfish pond at the entrance added a nice touch of charm. Seating and Menu: I was seated immediately, which was a great start to my experience. The menu offered a wide variety of hibachi and sushi options, which was pleasing to see. While everything looked tempting, I decided to focus on sushi and ordered the Yummy Roll and the Fantastic Roll. Food: Both rolls were exceptional. The rice had the perfect consistency, and the flavors in each roll were well-balanced and delicious. The presentation was also top-notch, showing great attention to detail. Service: My server was attentive and friendly throughout my visit, ensuring I had everything I needed. Their attentiveness really elevated the dining experience. Overall: I highly recommend Sakura Japanese Sushi & Steak House if you’re in the area. The combination of delicious sushi, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely be back!

The most authentic, incredibly delicious sushi we have had since we moved to Alabama. Their vast a la carte menu features ACTUAL squid and tako which are two of my favorite proteins. The service we received was professional, polite, and attentive. This is definitely our new go-to spot for sushi.

Food was delicious. Service only lost one star because she was not able to answer questions about the menu or food but she was friendly and otherwise just took a while to bring the check. I got the ginger salad miso soup, rainbow roll and rock n roll. Very good fish, fresh vegetables and the soy sauce on the table was definitely not Kikkoman brand as it was labeled but was still decent. I enjoyed my meal. I do plan to return!
