Hayashi Japanese Restuarant was one of the first places we ate at when my wife and I moved here and thought it was really good. Everytime we have eaten here we have found the staff to be very friendly and the food quite yummy. We will be back for sure. This place isn't one of those chain restaurants. You can tell the staff take pride in what they do.

The food was amazing! You can taste the freshness in every bite, especially in the sushi and sashimi, which are plated so beautifully and look almost too good to eat (like this Chirashi I just had). If raw food isn’t your thing, they also have delicious cooked dishes, like their tempura and teriyaki which are just as satisfying. The flavors are bold but balanced. Nothing feels overdone. Dessert was a surprise, and the red bean mochi is a must try! They also have Ramune available, which adds a fun touch, especially if you’re opening a bottle for the first time. The staff also went out of their way to make us feel at home with their kind and thoughtful service. Hayashi is easily one of my favorite spots for authentic Japanese food. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is an absolute GEM!!! Hayashi is a quaint Japanese restaurant with all the charm of being in a completely different part of the world. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the ambiance is so warm and inviting! They have a wall filled with drawings given to them by their customers over the years! And the food was absolutely AMAZING!! I was only in town to do shopping but I will definitely be back to eat here again.
