Solid spot for sushi. The plating is really beautiful and impressive and the servers are friendly. Some of the fish on the rainbow roll was tough and cut too thick, so I don’t recommend it, but the roll I had with shrimp tempura in it was really tasty and the plating included a flowering tree and a glowing light. Nice place for a casual dinner with family or a chill date.

On Saturday evening my husband and i went out for a date night at Miyako. Miyako provides an upscale premiere dining experience dining experience at an affordable price. Even though it was busy upon arrival we were able to walk in and immediately grab a seat at the sushi bar. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Johnny behind the sushi bar prepared our meal and has a variety of custom dishes to prepare if your looking for something different. We had the Sandwich roll, sushi for two, a kids dinner of fillet minion, shrimp, vegetables and fried rice and drinks. We started with a sandwich roll, which I highly recommend. The slices of fresh fish from the sushi for two fills your taste buds with flavor as the cuts of fish melt in your mouth. It is because of the quality of food and service that I recommend Miyako for date night or just a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner.

Best presentation of sushi that I have EVER seen!!! And the sushi was so delicious! I’m VERY impressed to say the least. AND this was my first visit to the Grovetown location. My family WILL be coming back here! Staff was wonderful as well! We came on a busy night BUT we got in in about 20 minutes. Overall 5/5 🙌🏽❤️
