We came here for lunch, and the prices seemed a little expensive for the sushi rolls, but we still gave this place a shot, and I'm glad we did. The fish was great quality and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Crunch and Munch Roll, and it was the best sushi roll I think I've ever had. My friend had the grilled fish collar, and it was so tender and delicious. The miso soup, to my surprise, did not have any tofu in it - which i thought was strange... but the soup itself was very flavorful and well seasoned, so we were still happy with it. We will definitely be back for more delicious food.

Mac and his staff are the best! This is the best restaurant on the Central Coast. The food is beyond description. Always fresh. Always beautiful. Always delicious. The service is top notch. They balance making sure all your needs are met and also letting you enjoy your meal. If you’re looking for delicious food, stop looking. You found it.

Umi has become a family favorite / tradition. I've only been there three times but my wife has been going for many years. The staff is super frendly and quick. The prices are a little higher than some sushi restaurants, but not by much, and you notice in the quality of ingredients and presentation. Everything is fantastic but the 2 item bento box is a great deal. Also, if you're up for a savory treat, the green mussels are wonderful.
