I got the hibachi chicken with soup and salad. It was delicious. Came out in decent time, friendly waitress and clean restaurant.

This place is absolutely a fantastic place! If I was giving my honest opinion Best hibachi chef: JB (FYI all of the chefs do something unique to themselves so there is always a secret talent they squeeze in) Best food option: Chicken and the fried rice Best server: All of them are great! Atmosphere: I love the forest vibe when you first come in and then when you go to the hibachi, it’s like the perfect calming setting If you need to though, the fire is really hot so scoot your chair back if it is helpful. Also pushing your plate towards the stove helps them put the food on easily.

I recently visited Izumi Japanese Steakhouse, and I can confidently say it might be the best hibachi experience in the Quad Cities. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The atmosphere was inviting & had a relaxing vibe, perfect when you’re in the mood for a bocce dinner in a classy setting. they have a massive menu. Tons of options. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the hibachi steak chicken and shrimp, & everything was cooked to perfection right in front of us. The chef was engaging and funny. The flavors were amazing, and the portions were generous. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and every bite was fantastic. Our server, Mary, was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. They were busy the night we went in, but the service was still fast, and the timing between courses was spot-on. Mary really did a great job serving us. She had professionalism and warm personality. Overall, Izumi is a must-visit if you're looking for great hibachi in the Quad Cities. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual dinner, the combination of great food, fast service, and a clean, inviting environment will leave you wanting to come back. Highly recommend!
