Authentic Japanese food!!! I ordered the Tempura Udon, chef's special roll, and special chirashi. All three dishes were delicious! It's a small shop so you can expect to wait a bit for your meal. However, the wait will be worth it! Highly recommended! ごちそうさまでした！

My six year search for a good authentic Japanese restaurant in sac is finally done. This is it. This is the place. I will come here over Kru any day. The fry on the agedashi and kisu tempura was perfect. I haven't even seen kisu tempura in the states before, and they've nailed it here. I also got the chef's special roll, which is a little pricey and did not have a description, but ask and they'll tell you. I think it was shrimp tempura and smoked albacore inside, wrapped with various fish like rainbow rolls, and topped with tobiko or masago of various flavors (I'm pretty sure yellow was yuzu but unsure about others). It was phenomenal, and very filling. The lady who owns it is also very friendly and attentive. She even warned me to be good to my date, because my date would not have any issues finding a different guy 😂

One of the few Japanese owned sushi restaurants I know of in the Sacramento region. Owned by husband and wife, a very quaint, cozy, and high quality sushi spot. Service may be slow, but keep in mind that it is a family owned business looking to always serve you great food. Be sure to call in advance to book a reservation.
