I’ve grown up on Mikuni and have always loved coming here for dinners, special occasions, and birthdays. It’s been a go-to spot since I was a kid, but unfortunately, I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back. The quality of their fish, especially the salmon, has noticeably declined over the last couple of years. Every time I visit this specific location, the salmon tends to be tough and chewy, often with excessive grey fat and hard pieces. Additionally, the avocado in the rolls is either underripe or turning grey/black, as if it’s been sitting out too long. I keep giving them more chances because I truly want to love it like I always have, but the consistent drop in quality makes it hard to justify coming back, especially for the price point. I hope they can return to the fresh, high-quality standards they used to be known for.

went there for the first time last night! Sat at the sushi bar next to sushi chef Justin, and he made some of the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. Definitely get the Tony’s leftover roll.

Wow!! What an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly host and seated quickly despite being 8 PM on a Friday night. Our server Justin was 10/10, as soon as we finished a plate he had it cleared and our cups were never empty. The food was delicious, we tried a little of quite a few things. When we were leaving almost every person we walked past thanked us for coming in. Would 100% come back and plan to next time we are in the area!!
