Having lived in Japan for 7 years collectively, it was nice to experience a little nostalgia from this place. Everything was created with care, and takes a little bit extra time, but it’s worth the wait. The miso soup was delicious…sashimi was very fresh, California rolls were tasty, and the chicken fried rice dish was scraped clean by my family of 4. My husband enjoyed the teriyaki chicken bento box. The gyoza was very authentic and delicious, or as Japanese would say “Oishi!”

Dude this sushi was 10/10 ⭐️ tasted like the sushi gods themselves came down and blessed this business. If you love yourself you’ll order the birthday roll cause oh my goodness has something never tasted so heavenly. It’s like therapy in the form of fresh fish, perfect rice, and tasty sauces. Also waitstaff is super nice and fast 💯

Let me start by saying that I RARELY write reviews. The day that we stopped in to eat it was about 5pm. I am writing this review at 6am the next day and we are still raving about how good the food was. The staff was awesome. The chef at the sushi bar named Kelly was GREAT! There was another "white" gentleman (sorry I don't know his name) who helped us at the sushi bar. He informed me that I could substitute fried white fish for the tempura shrimp that was in the volcano roll. That was very helpful since I don't eat shrimp. We had the volcano roll, imperial roll, and ring of fire roll. The rolls looked great and tasted even better. Honestly, it's the best sushi I have ever had. Then, Kelly gave us a sample of the eel. It was crazy good also. It's not often I try to tip the chef and this was one of those times. Kelly refused the tip though. They make sushi like they love it and I appreciate that. Wow! I'll be back very soon.
