It's not a bad spot for a quick bite. There is nothing really special about the restaurant. The service was timely and the staff was great. It was a little pricy from my experience, but I would go again given the opportunity.

The best hibachi in Colorado Springs! The chefs are amazing and always show us a great time while putting on a show and making us laugh. Always a 10/10 experience every time.

I left a glowing five-star review for AI Sushi just three months ago. Unfortunately, tonights' experience was a one star. Heck, less than one star. Hoping they make this right ASAP. Last time, I ordered the nigri/sashimi combo, $34. It was incredible. Quality was amazing, cuts of fish were fresh and larger than expected. Tonight, I ordered the nigri deluxe dinner, which was 12 assorted pieces of nigri. Look at the picture, folks. We ordered two of these. This is how they showed up. On a 12-piece assortment, four pieces were the exact same fish roe in four different colors?! All four tasted foul, not like any roe I've ever had. Then one piece was cooked shrimp and one was krab. So, $28 for six actual pieces of sushi. To make it worse, I think the waitress or the chefs initially forgot to make our combos. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for them. Waitress walked past the table a couple times hurriedly, looking concerned. Never did bring the mackerel I ordered. I didn't eat the roe. When the waitress brought the check, she asked if something was wrong. I told her the roe was terrible. She then tells me that many customers have complained recently about the combo. She talks to the manager. He doesn't take anything off the bill. $144 with tip for 3 people. Maybe it was just an off night. I'd love to put my five-star review back up. Willing to give y'all another chance. But for the love of jamieson, change that assortment IMMEDIATELY! Just straight up wrong to do that to your customers.
