Love the sushi chefs here. I have been getting some pretty cute rolls lately. Almost too pretty to eat. Even my simple tuna roll was fancied up.

We used to come here for sushi whenever we are in town. They used to make them the traditional way with seaweed wrap. So my boyfriend and I ordered 4 sushi rolls and our first roll came out and we thought it was just that roll that had a different wrap... until we saw the next 2 rolls. Our server didn't let us know that the restaurant defaults to making "soy wraps" until I looked over at the sushi Bar and asked the sushi chef. The sushi chef kindly told me that this restaurant now makes Soy wraps but they can make us seaweed wraps. As the server came back she told the chefs about us wanting seaweed wraps but we didn't tell her. (Which was false because she didn't let us know) Anyway, they were kind to remake the rolls for us. But just beware of soy wraps if you are looking for traditional sushi.

This place has deteriorated a lot, it used to be really good but now it’s HORRIBLE. The moment we sat down for teppanyaki the place was filthy. I asked for steak and when the chef asked how did I wanted my meat and I responded with “well done” his response was “No! that takes to long” so I asked if I could change it and he said “No”. For a moment I thought well it must be a large steak, well surprise to me it was just a strip of meat. Then he proceeded to cook and it seemed like he was in a rush and upset because he did not talk to the whole table at all nor did any of the shows. Five minutes passed by when the waiter comes to ask if we needed boxes. At that point we felt forced rushed to leave sooner. And you would think maybe that is because they were busy, well they were not, they had plenty of tables open. The chef next to us started cooking before us and was still cooking by when we left. The most shocking thing was the tab at the end, a high price to have an upset man mid-cook my food.
