I’ll preface by admitting I’m a pretty picky sushi eater and lived in places with amazing sushi. Having had a hard time finding good quality sushi in the east valley, I’m very happy to have stumbled across this place a couple years ago. I’ve come to regard this as my favorite sushi spot in the area. The biggest selling point about this place to me, is that their prices are very reasonable for the high quality fish they serve. It’s unusual to find a place with high quality that isn’t price gauging. I usually get their nigiri or sashimi. The salmon, albacore, and yellowtail are my go to’s, and their bluefin tuna is excellent. I also like their salmon roe. If you like rolls, I highly recommend the Santos Roll - it may just be one of my favorite specialty rolls in the valley. The place is not big but is nicely decorated and doesn’t feel crammed despite its size. The service I’ve had has always been great - the servers are friendly and they are great at making recommendations if you ask. I highly recommend this place.

This was my first time at hi 5 and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was great from Tommy and Nick. It has a great vibe inside with good music and the pricing is perfect. The presentation of the food was also really cool but we were too hungry to get a photo first. Overall recommend trying it out.

High quality, fresh sushi, BUT they won't offer soy paper for their rolls ☹️. Too bad because their rolls look interesting. That said, I detest seaweed and always get my rolls with soy paper at every other sushi joint on the planet. I got the jalapeño hamachi, which was beautiful in presentation and tasty. I also got two orders of nigiri (see pics) that were generous in size and fresh.
