Visiting guests took us here as a thank you. They know how particular sushi can be. Otori has a fresh sashimi flavor. If you understand 🍣, you get it. However , the miso is typical salty. Only in Waikiki have I ever ranted about the miso not being salty, but it was prepared by owners from Okinawa. The atmosphere inside Otori is nothing to write home about, but the servers are on top of it. Yes, it will be a repeat and not as long a drive to my other favorite place. Looking for casual non pretentious Japanese sushi? Put Otori on your food must try. Enjoy!

Food came surprisingly fast without taking away from the quality. Large portions with a generous amount of fish and a prefect thin layer of rice. Blown away by the generous size of rolls yet it not taking away from the taste. Usually large rolls consist mostly of rice, not here! Reasonably priced. Didnt think we would find a good sushi place so quickly in palm springs!
