If you are craving for freshly made sushi and an authentic quality Japanese cuisine. This is a place that you can’t missed! The best sushi experience I had so far around the Santa Cruz area. Foods are fresh, which is the key of a good Japaneses restaurant! The spider roll were stunning. Highly recommended to try! The other dishes we had were also amazing too! Will absolutely come visit again soon!

If you're looking for an authentic Sushi experience, prepared and served by a Itamae... this is the place. Portions are large - so one nigiri serving is really like two. The fish is fresh and deeeelicious and prices are fair for the portion size. Some of the best sushi I've had ever. The Salmon was bright and fresh, Yellowtail was like butter and the grilled Unagi was the best I've ever had, not some tiny piece covered in sauce but large, grilled to perfection and lightly sauced. Update: Just visited again last night and I can't rave enough about this place. It's, without a doubt, the best sushi in Santa Cruz, and perhaps the best sushi I've ever had anywhere - including Hawaii.
