I deemed Kani House my favorite after visiting for the first time last month (dine-In). Yesterday, 3 8 2025, my takeout was okay. The reason is Gyoza was overcooked. Where are the other 3? I ate them. Did I enjoy them? No. My sushi selection was good. Had it not been, I would consider not driving 40 miles to go to Kani House. The bar attendant was pleasant.

We dined out on Christmas Eve, and despite the busy atmosphere, the service was organized and quick. We ordered three ribeye steaks, which were juicy, tender, and perfectly marbled. The fried rice was also excellent—something Uncle Roger would approve of! To top off our meal with a choice of ice cream or sorbet. While I'm not a big fan of their sushi, the seaweed salad was quite tasty.
