I regularly order a tofu poke bowl for lunch and today it came with a yummy surprise! A kind thank you note and complementary soup and salad :) Hakuya has great food and outstanding service. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty in the poke bowls. Highly recommend!

I used to love Hakuya and would always recommend this place, but now it is never consistent. I order pretty much the same favorites every time, in this picture everything was fresh and delicious, but that was two weeks ago. This week, miso soup tasted old and way too salty, the fish looked like it was left out to dry. The Philadelphia roll did not taste good at all, even the cream cheese was gross. Chuck, you need to come for dinner service too! Miss seeing the family 😢

Cute little sushi restaurant. They have excellent lunch deals during the week. I had the lunch special with nigiri, shrimp tempura roll, and teriyaki chicken. Also was served miso soup. The nigiri was super fresh, large pieces of fish and slightly sweet rice. The shrimp tempura roll was also delicious and topped with a soy-like sauce and spicy mayo. Teriyaki chicken was hot and fresh with a couple pieces of chicken, but more cabbage and onion. Service was very prompt, since the restaurant was mostly empty. My order took probably less than 10 minutes to arrive. My total with tax + tip ended up being about $20, which was a very good deal for so much fresh sushi. The restaurant did have a bit of a musty smell, but sushi was fresh.
