I’ve never had the food, but I got the boba. I ordered a brown sugar boba and the tapioca pearls were not good. They were weirdly shaped and really squishy, and they tasted almost like meat. The tea was also pretty questionable, it was watery and looked like coffee instead of a brown sugar milk tea. It didn’t even taste like brown sugar, more like coffee. The vibes were great, the place was cute, but the boba I ordered was not good.

I don't usually leave reviews but the meat my husband ordered was noticeably old tasting (like about to expire) and when we told the waiter when he asked if we wanted a box for the untouched food that it was inedible bc of the end-of-life meat he said "okay" I also was charged for an item I didn't receive. I made them take it off but this is basic stuff they are messing up ! If I'm being picky our entrees also came out 20 min apart from each other (this is not an exaggeration) - we both ordered normal things so this was very disappointing. Y'all have a cool interior but just show some more care about food quality, service and cleanliness (sticky floors ewww). Maybe this was on me but I love supporting independent businesses. I hate to write a negative review because the people were pretty nice but it’s just not worth the money. As soon as I walked in I seen a huge bug that looked like a roach and I’m sure it’s not the only one, see in photo. And the food just wasn’t good. There’s not much else I can say. There’s one sushi restaurant in Richmond I usually go to because it’s so good and compared to that sushi it’s just awful. Just not very fresh.
