I felt lucky to snag a spot at the counter after eyeing Resy a while back. The whole dinner is about a two hour experience and it is definitely an experience! The menu changes weekly. The chef is so talented with his various skills. I also appreciated his knowledgeable assistant. He is also very engaging, telling great stories and asking you questions. I loved the souvenir napkin and sticker. I feel like I walked away having made a new friend. It was very special.

One of the best omakase experiences I have had to date. Chef Haya San creates an authentic Japanese omakase experience and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into the restaurant and creating a great dining experience. While higher priced than other local omakase experiences, the portion sizes were very generous and fish comes straight from Japan. The uni supplement is a must have and was served in a very unique way. Their wasabi was also very unique and I could not stop eating it throughout the service. I can’t wait to go back again!

O.akase is an amazing sushi experience that you must try. I have visited all the Michelin rated Omakase restaurants in Atlanta and this one is my favorite. Happy to recommend this to my 115 million photo viewers on Google Maps. What stands out here is the personal attention and care by the chef owner: Hayakawa-san. Hayakawa is a small business run by an immigrant from Hokkaido ( I believe). The other exceptional thing about this place is the generous portion of fish you get with each nigiri. It's absolutely a mouthful , with a fresh flavorful burst. It's not the fanciest omakase place in Atlanta, but it gives you a small restaurant feel. The only thing I would change is that they provide too many instructions and interrupt while you're enjoying your meal or having conversation with your friend. I came here with seven friends and we all enjoyed it very much. I would definitely come back.
